Midland March That Matters 2025

On December 5, hundreds of community members gathered at Juniper Gardens for the annual Midland March That Matters, a powerful event promoting unity, inclusion, and action. The day brought together Elders, young people, service providers, representatives from all levels of government, community leaders, local families, and other members of the wider community.
Since its beginnings in 2013, the Midland March That Matters has grown into one of the largest grassroots initiatives during the 16 Days of WA campaign, continuing to raise awareness about family and domestic violence, strengthening partnerships, and creating pathways for change.
On November 25, which marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and the beginning of the 16 Days in WA, our staff also joined the rally at Forrest Place to stand united against family and domestic violence.
We remain committed to supporting women and families in our community every day.
