Best Lives
Best Lives (formerly Essential Personnel) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been inspiring and supporting people with disabilities and diverse abilities across WA to enjoy a life of purpose, promise and possibilities since 1986. They work with people to find employment, housing and further support.
Department of Communities – Disability Services
The Department of Communities is responsible for disability services in WA. Disability Services works to improve opportunities, inclusion, participation and quality of life for people with disability, their families and carers.
The department:
- Provides and funds disability supports and services
- Works in partnership with community organisations, businesses and government
- Supports system-wide improvements across the disability sector

Midlas
Midland Information Debt and Legal Advocacy Service Inc (Midlas) is a not-for-profit community legal centre based in Midland and Ellenbrook that provides financial counselling and well-being, tenancy advocacy, disability advocacy and legal services to people throughout the northern region of Perth.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent statutory agency responsible for implementing the NDIS. The NDIS supports Australians with a significant and permanent disability. The scheme aims to give people with disability greater choice and control over their supports, helping them to live more independently and participate in the community.

Provides flexible, individualised support to people with disability to assist with everyday activities and community participation. Services are tailored to individual needs and delivered when and how support is required.

Workpower
Workpower is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with disability, their families and carers to access employment and training opportunities. Since 1992, Workpower has worked alongside thousands of people to help build skills, confidence and pathways to meaningful work.
