Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services Inc. (Ishar)
Ishar is based in Mirrabooka, Perth, and supports the health and wellbeing of women of all ages and from all cultural backgrounds. Ishar uses a holistic approach grounded in the Social Model of Health, recognising that women’s health is shaped by the interconnected influences of personal, social, economic, cultural, racial, age and gender factors.

Sister Project
Sister Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Ellenbrook, Perth, that supports and empowers women from migrant, refugee and asylum-seeker backgrounds. Since 2019, it has helped more than 500 women from over 30 countries through a wide range of community programs and activities.
Sister Project offers:
- Weekly English and digital literacy classes to build confidence and communication skills
- Workshops and social activities that foster connection, creativity, and wellbeing
- Opportunities for women to develop skills and earn income, including sharing and selling art, craft, and cooking
- Support with navigating the Australian system, building networks, and exploring pathways to employment or business ventures

South Coastal Health & Community Services (SCHCS)
SCHCS is a Rockingham-based not-for-profit organisation, offering a wide range of counselling, therapeutic, support groups and health services to women, families and the broader South Coastal corridor community of the Perth metropolitan area.
SCHCS also delivers culturally secure social and emotional wellbeing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through its South Coastal Babbingur Mia program, supporting individuals, children, new mums and men both onsite and through outreach.

South West Women’s Health & Information Centre (SWWHIC)
SWWHIC is a community-based, not-for-profit women’s health service in South Bunbury that provides free, confidential support to women across the South West region of WA. Its mission is to offer health education, screening, counselling, pro-choice pregnancy support and community engagement to help women make informed decisions and care for their wellbeing.
Services include one-on-one health education with a qualified nurse on topics such as contraception, fertility, menopause and anxiety; a women’s screening clinic including cervical screening; non-judgemental unintended pregnancy information and referral; and short-term counselling in a safe, supportive environment. SWWHIC also facilitates women’s activities, workshops and community programs aimed at empowering women.
