Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
CAMHS offers free, specialised mental health support, treatment, and advice for infants, children, and young people (typically up to 18) with significant mental health challenges, operating through community clinics, hospital services, and crisis support lines across Australia.
These multidisciplinary teams help with issues like severe anxiety, depression, and trauma, providing care from early intervention to acute crisis for families and young people.
