Nardine Refuge
Nardine Women’s Refuge provides safe, secure accommodation for women and their children (up to 17 years old) experiencing family and domestic violence. Our refuge offers a supportive communal living environment where each family has their own bedroom and shares common facilities. Stays are generally up to three months, with dedicated support available throughout.
We provide personalised, trauma-informed case management for women, children, and young people. Our team works with families to reduce the harmful impacts of domestic violence and support their safety, wellbeing and long-term stability.
Services include:
- Advocacy and referrals, including multicultural support services
- Assistance in securing short-term or long-term housing
- Counselling for women, children and young people
- Support with legal and court processes
- Financial counselling and practical assistance
- Access to essential items such as food and clothing
Through our partnership with RSPCA WA’s Pets in Crisis program, we ensure pets of women entering the refuge can be safely cared for in temporary foster homes. This allows families to seek safety while knowing their pets are protected until long-term accommodation is arranged.
Nardine is more than accommodation – it is a safe, empowering space where women and children can rebuild their lives free from violence. Our staff are compassionate, experienced, and committed to supporting each family’s journey toward independence and safety.
